Spinal Tumors

There are 3 types of spinal tumors: benign, malignant tumor of the spinal cord and metastatic tumor to the spine.  These usually present with weakness, paralysis, pain and/or numbness.  Diagnosis is made with MRI scan.  Treatment may require surgery.  Surgery may completely excise the tumor or partially excise the tumor necessitating radiation and/or chemotherapy.

Whatever the tumor, we have the latest techniques and neurosurgical approaches available to us for your benefit.  We take an aggressive approach to the treatment of spinal tumors.  We have the clinical and research experience for long survivals with a personal touch.
