Lasers are used in Neurosurgery for the treatment of many conditions.  The most common uses are in brain or spine tumors.  Lasers can help remove a tumor with minimal to no manipulation of normal tissue.  Additional uses are in endoscopic surgeries of the brain such as to fenestrate a tumor or cyst.
