Aneurysm

An aneurysm is a localized, blood-filled balloon-like bulge in the wall of a blood vessel. Aneurysms can commonly occur in arteries at the base of the brain.

The causes of aneurysms are thought to be one of the following: congenital, atherosclerotic or hypertensive, embolic, infectious, or traumatic.

When the size of an aneurysm increases, there is a significant risk of rupture, resulting in severe hemorrhage, other complications, or even death.  The treatment of aneurysms includes: surgical intervention, watchful waiting in combination with control of blood pressure, or endovascular coiling techniques.

For aneurysms, we have the latest techniques available to us for your benefit.  We have extensive clinical experience for great outcomes with a personal touch.
